NY Times Writes About “Moos and Oinks”
Animal rights activist usually don’t have any problem making the news. They do, however, tend to lean towards more negative press coverage than positive. That is why I was so delighted to read the recent NY Times article putting a rose-colored spotlight on Farm Sanctuary.
It is definitely worth checking out; you’ll see why I support the organization, and why I have chosen them as my charity for this Saturday’s blog-a-thon.
Even if you don’t make a donation, please stop by Living Without Meat throughout the day and show me support as I write 49 posts in 24 hours without any sleep!
Want a teaser? I’ve been making plans for what to write about and some ideas include: addressing the search strings that have brought Web surfers to LWM; making handcrafted items during the event and giving them away as I finish them; introducing myself and my cats a bit more … the list goes on. You won’t be let down!
(And thanks to Chris for a heads up on the article!)
