No Sleep ’til Farm Sanctuary Gets My Help

by Sally Andersen

I am not a begger. In fact, it is hard for me to even accept help when it is offered to me. But this time it is not me who needs the help.

farm-sanctuary.jpgFarm Sanctuary, the organization that I am supporting with the Walk for Animals that I will be participating in on September 30, believes in “rescue, education, and advocacy for farm animals” and I would like to help their efforts in every way possible.

blogathonbutton.gifIn addition to the walk in September, I will be blogging for 24 hours straight next weekend in a blog-a-thon to raise money for a number of charities. I have chosen Farm Sanctuary as my charity, but need your help, too.

Beginning at 9 a.m. EST on Saturday July 28, I will bring you fun, facts, food, and FREEBIES every half an hour until 9 a.m. EST Sunday July 29. That’s right: 24 hours, 49 posts, no sleep, but lots of support for an awesome, hardworking non-profit.

How can you help? First, sponsor me! Make a safe, secure, online flat donation or per post offerance via the hosting Blog-a-thon organization. Then, check in regularly on July 28 through July 29, and offer me support. Plus, as a bonus, I will be randomly including contest posts that offer a prize tothe first person to comment on that post!

Can you help? Will you?
