I Cooked Tofu, and It Was Good!
I made my tofu nuggets last night, and they were delicious! In addition to coating them in the blend of spices and crushed TVP that I had planned to, I also added some Italian-style bread crumbs. Next time, I’ll leave out the red pepper because, although I usually like a little heat, this time it just covered up the other flavors too much. They will become a regular in my kitchen. Not really a nugget craving substitute though; next time I’ll do them up as a flesh eater would fish - with a side of spinach sauteed with diced onions, garlic, and tomatoes, and some wild rice on the other side.
