Living Without Meat

Last night, I finished watching the first season of Amber Tamblyn’s Joan of Arcadia and found another reference to vegetarianism!

On disc 6 of season 1, in an episode titled Silence, Amber as Joan has a near-death experience. Lying in the hospital bed, she says:

“I don’t want to die. I haven’t had sex or my own apartment or anything yet. I wanted to try veganism. I had plans.”

Joan lives; Amber becomes vegetarian one year later.

I’m starting to think someone on the crew was a veggie head.
